Dilhara Muthukuda welcomed everyone and outlined the meeting agenda.

MOQC/POQC Updates

• POQC Map
  • At a previous meeting, POQC was curious to see the geographic distribution of its members. Vanessa has a map that she keeps internally for this purpose. Dilhara shared the map with the group.
• Magic of POQC Meeting Recap
  • The Magic of POQC authors (Analay and Jennifer) met last week with POQC for what is referred to as “member checking” after completion of 20 qualitative interview. The purpose of member checking is to make sure that the research themes are indeed what the interviewees intended to convey.
  • As part of this research, they asked interview participants what we could do to make POQC better. This is part of the “Future Work” in reporting on POQC and how we’ve created what we’ve created.
  • At last week’s meeting, POQC members (including people who were not research participants) had a lot to say about this! Specific recommendations regarding onboarding of new members and expanding the role of POQC and MOQC in advocacy, etc. While the future work is separate from the research for the “Magic of POQC”, feedback and recommendations will be taken into consideration so watch this space for more to come.

  • Today is the last day of the quarter. Payments for Q1 will be processed very soon. Let Vanessa or Karen know if you have any questions.
