The Recruitment and Retention Workgroup is preparing for their next recruitment table. We have booked a table at Straits Pride ( https://straitspride.org/event ) on Mackinac Island on Saturday, September 21st. The table will be a part of the vendor market, which is inside of the Community Hall. The market is scheduled from 2:00-6:00pm.
We have an open spot for a POQC member to join us at the table, if someone is interested. I will be attending as the project manager representative and I will bring table materials. Participation would include handing out resources and talking with anyone interested about what MOQC and POQC are.
We are able to book hotel accommodations for the night before and the night after the event. Gas mileage, expertise and time, and a food stipend would also be included.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from some new community members, and to share about what MOQC and POQC are doing across the state.
